My character is a female superwomen. She's shy, polite and sometime even a pushover type. But when night strikes and she slips on her high heals and tight body suit, she embodies a whole new persona. She's the no holds barred type of women. She takes no crap from anyone and is a badass.
*Sketches coming soon. She needs to get ready. You know how women are.*

Blockman Poses
This is actually the my second best I enjoyed doing in Maya. I had fun making the joints. The only problem I ran into was the ordering of the joints. The book just confused me on where everything needed to go. After three attempts of reading the order over again and again I think I got it. It was really cool working with the animation and learning how to use it. It wasn't easy and really took a while to get every step done the right way.
Red Wagon
Catapult
Just looking at the catapult I already knew I was going to have a problem. It looked too difficult and too complicated to be easy. There were definitely a lot of pieces that had to fit together, which made the process tiring and gruesome. The whole thing itself was tough but adding the ridges was the most challenging. The little parts were the hardest because you had to be detailed with the bolts and screws. Especially with the wheels being detailed and intricate, the most time went into the wheels and back section of the catapult.
The Hand
The hand was actually fun to make. It was simple and easy to follow through until you get to the thumb making. The part where you have to select an edge or face to rotate the thumb at an angle was my biggest problem. When I would go to select the edge and face of the thumb to rotate it a little, when it would rotate it would show like it was caving into the other fingers rather than being apart from the angle. So I thought the whole time that was the wrong way until I put the hand in texture mode pressing 1,2, or 3 and it didn't show the messed up angle.
Decorative Box/Textured Decorative Box
Constructing the box and faces itself was a bite tough. Trying to get the images of the box in place was difficult and uneasy to follow. The book tells you one thing but you end up looking at something completely different. It was very challenging trying to make the box and it took me forever just trying to grab edges and corners and make loops.
Trying to at least texturize the box was too much. The detail on the design of the box is already very intricate so adding detail just added more stress and problems.
